The St. Charles Youth also participate in a variety of events.  We have enjoyed Laser Tag, bowling, Diocesan Youth Convention, National Catholic Youth Conference.  Two of our teens attended DYC this year and had a great time.  This fall we will be attending NCYC in Kansas City.  DYC and NCYC are events that allow teens to meet other teens that share the same beliefs and values as them.  At DYC and NCYC the teens hear from National Catholic speakers and singers.  They also have the opportunity to see other teens plan and carry out these events.  Both events also allow the teens to celebrate Mass.  DYC usually has around 400 teens that attend and NCYC usually has around 20,000 teens.  There is nothing more amazing that celebrating Mass with 20,000 people at one time under one roof.  God is truely present at these events in everyone and everything that we do.
